Sabu Raijua Regency is one of 23 districts / cities in East Nusa Tenggara Province. This regency was established on November 24, 2008 expansion of Kupang Regency. With the capital in Seba, Sabu Raijua is now headed by the Regent Nikodemus Rihi Heke.

Sabu Raijua consists of a group of exotic islands namely Sabu Island and Raijua Island. The charm of the tour offered by this area is also very amazing and complete. The best and closest location to enjoy the beach in Sabu Raijua Regency is Napae Beach. The beach in Seba City Center, West Sabu District, has white and clean beach sand. Activities that you can do here are bathing, sunbathing, selfies, photo sessions for pre-harvesting and enjoying the best sunset spots. This beach has been equipped with several lodging units, meeting halls and gazzebo which are believed to further complement your tour. It is very close to the sea port of Seba and your favorite airport, making Napae the closest beach you must visit on Sabu Island

You can find the Mabala Cave with its enchanting stalactite in eima Village, Central Sabu District, 12 kilometers from Seba City. This cave is said to have been described as the hideout of Mabala, a Commander of the War against the Portuguese invaders. There are many war symbols that can be seen and the shape of these yellowish brown stagtite stones such as stone cannons, gongs, barns, magic weapons, bodyguards and a small well that never dry the water. It’s amazing and it’s a shame to be missed during your visit.


For you lovers of art and culture, the Ledo Hau dance offerings certainly give a special impression. This one dance is also a traditional dance from Sabu Raijua. Ledo Hawu Dance is a happy and grateful nuance. Usually displayed in various events such as traditional ceremonies, welcoming and cultural festivals.

Ketadu is a traditional traditional musical instrument Sabu Raijua that is still sustainable today. This instrument is made of kedondong wood. Because the wood is light, the ballot box is 3 and is located behind. This tool is played by picking because it uses 2 strings. Some typical songs of Sabu can be accompanied by Ketadu. The way to play it is also not too difficult

Hurati is a site of the fortress of cultural history, the site of the Jila kelila ritual (Pehere Jara Kelila). Armed with a half-hectare area, you can find historical relics in the form of large cannons and former Horse-headed houses. This site is located in Keduru Village, Sabu Timur District and can be reached within 2.5 hours from Seba City. Hurati is now one of the national sites of the type of historic fort built around the middle of the 17th century. It is said that according to the story, this fort was built in one night by the humans of the Sea. Even though it was planned for a Sea man to be built 7 circles but not accomplished because the day (sun) had come.

Megalitic Complex RAENALAI

At Raenalai Fortress there is a megalithic stone which is the seat of the chiefs. This fort became a symbol of civilization and development of the East Sabu Indigenous people. Those of you who want to visit the Megalithic Complex of Raenalai, come to the village of Keduru, 2.5 km from the City of East Sabu District
