Fortunaexplore.com – Kelimutu National Park (TNK) in Ende District, Flores Island, East Nusa Tenggara released the number of tourists visiting the three-colored lake during 2017 reached 91,219 people.

He explained that the number of visitors who come not only from within the country but also visitors who come from abroad. For domestic tourists the number reached 73,417 people, while for foreign tourists the number reached 17,802 people.
“Of the number of visitors that TNK Kelimutu managed to reap a profit of Rp3, 5 billion, while compared with 2016 which only reached Rp2, 8 billion with the number of visitors reached 80 thousand tourists,” he added.
For the year 2018, he continued the central government to provide a target of 55,900 visitors who are expected to visit the three-colored lake. The number consisted of 46,000 domestic tourists, and 9,900 foreign tourists with the target of Non-Tax State Income (PNBP) 2018 reached Rp1, 766 billion.
“We are sure it will be fulfilled. Because Kelimutu Lake tourism is gaining more visitors,” he added.
He also said during the period of January-February 13th, 2018 the number of visitors at three-colored lake reached 6,532 visitors with details of domestic tourists 5,606, and foreign tourists reached 926 visitors. (antara/42na)
